Oklahoma-vs-Texas

Oklahoma dominated most of the game Saturday afternoon at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Tex., but had to survive a late surge by the Texas Longhorns to win 28-21.

After going up 14-0 in the first quarter, Oklahoma led by 18 late in the fourth quarter. Texas was able to score 10 unanswered to make it 28-20 with 1:02 remaining in the game, after they forced the OU offense to punt following a three-and-out.

Texas return man Aaron Williams muffed the punt and Oklahoma recovered and then ran out the clock.

OU quarterback Landry Jones finished with two touchdowns and 236 yards on 24 of 39 passing. OU running back Demarco Murray ran the ball 25 times for 115 yards and scored twice.

Texas sophomore quarterback Garrett Gilbert finished without a touchdown but threw one interception on 27 of 41 passing for 266 yards.

No. 8 Oklahoma moves to 5-0 on the season and Texas drops to 3-2. Oklahoma will host Iowa State next Saturday.
